How one-time cards work
A one-time virtual card is a card number generated for a single purchase and retired the moment that purchase completes. The number is revealed once, behind a PIN, and never becomes a reusable credential.
That changes what a breach is worth. A reusable card number is a standing key to your account — whoever ends up holding it can charge it until you notice and cancel. A number that is already spent is worth nothing to whoever leaks it.

Wallets hold each currency in its own balance rather than converting back and forth, so paying a dollar subscription from a dollar balance costs you one conversion, not two.

- What is a one-time virtual card?
- A one-time virtual card is a card number generated for a single purchase and retired immediately afterwards. Because the number is dead once the transaction completes, a merchant that is breached later is holding details that can no longer be charged.
- How does that protect me if a merchant is breached?
- A reusable card number is a standing key to your account: whoever holds it can charge it until you notice and cancel. A one-time number has no value after its single use, so a leaked checkout, a compromised merchant or stolen details never turn into a drained account.
- Which currencies can I hold?
- Sendsaii wallets support NGN, USD, GBP, EUR, GHS, KES, ZAR, CAD, AUD and AED, held side by side in one account rather than converted back and forth.
- Can businesses issue cards to staff?
- Yes. A verified business can invite staff and issue each teammate their own card with its own spending limit, so spend is controlled at the card rather than through after-the-fact expense claims.
- Is Sendsaii available yet?
- Sendsaii is launching soon and is granting access in rolling batches. Joining the waitlist at sendsaii.com is currently the only way to receive an early invite. There is no cost to join the waitlist, and opening an account once invited is free.
