- Can Ossai Space read messages sent through BlackBoxNg?
- No. Content is end-to-end encrypted such that the operator is provably unable to read it. The confidentiality guarantee is a property of the system rather than a promise about our conduct.
- How can a system be confidential and auditable at the same time?
- The two apply to different things. Message content stays encrypted end to end, while membership, access and administrative changes are recorded. A governance review can establish who had access to a room and when, without any party being able to read what was said.
- Why not use WhatsApp or Signal for board communication?
- Consumer messengers are built around personal accounts and provide no organizational identity, no institutional membership control and no audit trail. When a director leaves the board, the institution has no mechanism to govern their historic access, and no record to show a regulator.
